Kraton Polymers LLC Recognized by the Web Marketing Association With a 2006 Webaward for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development

Kraton Polymers LLC (Kraton) is pleased to announce that The Web Marketing Association WebAwards has selected www.Kraton.com for its 2006 Standard of Excellence Award in the manufacturing category, giving strong marks for design, innovation, content and interactivity.

Kraton launched its newly redesigned website in June 2006, simultaneous with the global rollout of the company’s new brand strategy.  The new site design showcases Kraton's position as the global market leader and world-class innovator in the performance polymers.  The website is more functional and user-friendly, and thoroughly highlights each of Kraton's end-use markets.

Kraton was assisted by Direct Marketing Network, who created a powerful web interface tool to enable users to quickly find, sort and download performance attributes and product specifications.  The Product Selector locates exact chemical profiles and generates custom PDF downloads.  The Document Center accesses multi-lingual PDF files on more than 1,000 products.

Kraton formed a "Web Posse" to lead and drive the site revitalization effort.  Members of the Web Posse included Eli Ben-Shoshan, Dave Hansen, Shari Mattern, Rick Ott, Steve Prod and Bruce Toig.  They were further assisted by Dan Long and Allan Sommer of Kraton’s IT group as well as many other Kraton employees who contributed to this award winning website.
